Young Children’s Division Dance Instructor
Ballet Austin’s Young Children’s Division is responsible for the acquisition and retention of our students ages 18 months – 5 years of age.
The person in this position provides dance instruction and plays a vital role in developing lasting relationships with the arts and cultivating young audience members.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses a strong background in dance and dance pedagogy, the ability to interact well with students and parents, strong organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills and consistent punctuality, and a collaborative, team-based working style.
The Database Specialist oversees the maintenance, manipulation and storage, of Ballet Austin’s customer and sales CRM (Tessitura). This position identifies and solves Tessitura requirements, provides sophisticated data output, and troubleshoots problems that may arise with Tessitura’s interface for assigned areas.
This position focuses on the technical and functional needs for upgrades, reporting and customization of Tessitura in support of the Ticketing Department and the Development Department. The Database Specialist works with team members from these two departments to leverage Tessitura to achieve the organization’s fullest revenue generation, marketing, reporting, data analysis, and business development objectives, with the goal of increasing the productivity and efficiency of the Tessitura users group within BA team.
Part of a highly motivated team of instructors who teach Pilates reformer group classes and private Pilates sessions at Ballet Austin’s state-of-the-art Pilates center, located in downtown Austin. The teaching philosophy is based on the classical work of Joseph Pilates, as well as creative variations and modifications to reach a wide range of clientele, from high-energy group classes to clients with more therapeutic needs.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and experienced in the Pilates practice, is passionate about health and wellness, and enjoys helping clients achieve their full fitness potential.
The Associate Director of Creative Services/Graphics Designer supports Ballet Austin’s Creative Services design and implementation of Ballet Austin’s visual brand identity and its extensions through a diverse array of communications channels, including print, broadcast and digital platforms, and through the organization’s physical assets, including Ballet Austin’s building(s), studios and rented facilities.
This position, which reports directly to Executive Director, manages the internal and external resources necessary to build creative assets for the purpose of marketing goods and services to the public and communicating Ballet Austin’s mission to the community and supporters. This position is responsible for the in-house creation of graphic assets and marketing/communication collaterals related to this activity, while helping manage the activities of outside creative design personnel and related support services.
The Customer Experience Team is the first point of contact for Ballet Austin’s customers. Team members greet customers, answer questions, direct business, provide program information, and process transactions, creating an overall customer experience of excellence while ensuring the safety, security and well-being of Ballet Austin customers and staff.
Ballet Austin’s Development Department is responsible for raising approximately $2M annually through the identification, cultivation and stewardship of Ballet Austin’s donors (individuals/board members, corporate partners, private foundations, and others).
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who possesses strong organizational and time management skills, impeccable attention to detail, and works effectively in a technical, database-focused role, while enjoying a fast-paced team environment. The members of this department work closely with donors/the public at Ballet Austin events.
