Class Description – Baby Developmental Movement Class

Baby Developmental Movement is open to children (accompanied by an adult) age 2 months to 15 months by January 1, 2024.
We are excited to introduce a new program designed for the smallest movers! For infants just beginning their journey into the world around them, the Baby Developmental Movement class is a safe and fun environment for babies and their caregivers to deepen their bond and begin connecting with others through movement. Baby Developmental Movement focuses on reflexive movement patterns babies develop in the first year of life. This is an excellent space to begin expanding tummy time so that babies can explore, reach for goals, and make new neuromuscular connections. Babies will enrich their development with sensory props, and parents and caregivers will be able to learn about their baby’s development in a safe, supportive community.

This class will be added to the regular schedule at Ballet Austin’s main location Downtown and at our Northwest Austin location at The Dell Jewish Community Center beginning January 8, 2024.
