Dance Camps & Workshops (Ages 11–16)

Dance Team Audition Prep

Do you aspire to dance under the "Friday Night Lights" with your local High School Dance/Drill Team? Or maybe dance on the court to support the basketball or volleyball teams? And then there is Spring Show…

First you have to kill it during the audition. Concentrating on dance technique can help you reach your goal more easily and with greater confidence when it's audition time.

This 6-week workshop will focus on technique for team dance including turns, leaps, and jumps. Time will also be spent learning short jazz and hip hop combinations to practice picking up choreography quickly so you will master the dance during your audition.

This workshop is intended for dancers trying out for high school dance teams, college dance teams or even professional dance teams.

Lauren Parra

Date & Time:
Tuesdays, February 23–April 5, 2016: 8:30–9:30pm (6 weeks—no class March 15 during Spring Break)
