In light of the federal, state, and city directives limiting community gatherings, our Ballet Austin and Ballet Austin Guild joins others across the country and around the world in making tough decisions to ensure we do our part to make you and your family’s health and well-being our highest priority. We have made the difficult decision to cancel A MIDSUMMER AFTERNOON TEA, which was scheduled for April 26.
Our Tea is meant to bring people together to celebrate Ballet Austin’s impact on the community. We use this event to raise awareness about the wonderful work Ballet Austin does throughout our community, and also to raise funds for our local ballet company. We recognize that times like these often place undue financial uncertainty on our nonprofit arts community, and we ask that, in lieu of the purchase of a sponsorship or ticket, you consider a donation to Ballet Austin. Ticket prices ranged from $35-75 and sponsorships from $750-10,000.
Any contribution you are able to make will help provide some relief to the uncertainty that the organization is facing at this time. Thank you so much for your consideration and support of Ballet Austin.
