The health and safety of our patrons, dancers, and staff members remain our highest priority. SEPTEMBER 24-26 | The Long Center

Join us for our joyful return to the Long Center and the start of an exciting new season of live performances! JOY / 3 HAPPY DANCES BY STEPHEN MILLS premieres three contemporary ballets by Artistic Director Stephen Mills with music by favorite classical and modern-day composers. The Pink Confetti Dance is a playful homage to the court dances of yesteryear, set to effervescent music by Johann Sebastian Bach. Counterpoint has dancers bounding through fascinating patterns and canon work, while moving to the harmonic rhythms of Steve Reich. And Preludes/Beginnings is an uplifting and forward-looking piece, pairing dancer solos with powerful piano music by Frédéric Chopin. Find your happy place as we celebrate the JOY of dance!

From the scrumptious sets and costumes to the colorful characters you adore, Ballet Austin’s annual production of THE NUTCRACKER is Austin’s favorite holiday tradition! Hundreds of dancers perform Stephen Mills’ enchanting choreography to Peter Tchaikovsky’s magical score with live accompaniment from Austin Symphony Orchestra. Share this sweet treat with your favorite people and celebrate the season with Ballet Austin.

FEBRUARY 11-13 | The Long Center

Delight your Valentine with a trip to an enchanted forest, where mortal and magical beings deliver loads of laughs while looking for love! Artistic Director Stephen Mills presents William Shakespeare’s tale of premarital mix-ups in a playful ballet that’s perfect for all ages. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM showcases Mills’ choreographic agility and his dancers’ comedic talents. The production is so beloved that the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., invited Ballet Austin to perform MIDSUMMER on its stage in January 2002, and this light-hearted romp remains a favorite with Central Texas audiences. Treat your special someone to this classic romantic comedy!

APRIL 1-3 | The Long Center

They’re acclaimed, in demand, and as choreographers, pushing the creative envelope. With classical roots and a contemporary focus, Jennifer Archibald (Cincinnati Ballet and Arch Dance), Amy Seiwert (Imagery), and Jennifer Hart (Performa/Dance) are breaking barriers with major U.S. ballet companies and helming their own independent dance troupes, featuring diverse movement styles, from ballet to hip hop. These trend-setting women bring a unique voice and fresh take to their artform. See their work and share in their stories.

Join us Mother’s Day weekend for the world’s best-known ballet and a romantic love triangle for the ages. A sorcerer transforms an innocent girl into a White Swan, and when a prince falls in love with her, he creates her evil twin, the Black Swan, to entice him away. A story of devotion, infatuation, heartbreak, and forgiveness, SWAN LAKE features Marius Petipa’s original choreography and breathtaking corps de ballet sequences, set to Peter Tchaikovsky’s sweeping score. It’s the ballet classic you must experience.

Season Ticket Package Options



Season ticket packages offer total flexibility and 20-PERCENT SAVINGS on every ticket you purchase, including extra single tickets you want for popular shows. Lock-in your current seats from season to season, enjoy free ticket reprinting and exchanges, and receive special offers before the general public. To get started, choose the number of shows you want to see at the Long Center and select the productions that interest you.


Season Ticket Payment Plan Info

Ballet Austin offers payment plans allowing you to purchase your 2021/22 season tickets in up to five (5) installments. Payment plan deadlines are detailed below.

2021/22 Season Ticket Payment Plan Deadlines

  • 5 months: Friday, April 30, 2021
  • 4 months: Friday, May 28, 2021
  • 3 months: Wednesday, June 30, 2021
  • 2 months: Friday, July 30, 2021
  • Season tickets must be paid in full by Friday, Aug. 27, 2021.

Any Gift Certificate(s) you have from cancelled 2020 Ballet Austin performances have been consolidated into Ballet Austin Credits that are saved to your personal account and will never expire.

These credits are easy to redeem at checkout by logging into your account when purchasing tickets online or by giving us a call.
