HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
BE IN THE KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
We’re looking forward to safely welcoming you back to live performances! Here’s a few things we want to share with you as the curtain goes up on the 2021/22 season!
BRING WITH YOU: NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS or PROOF OF VACCINATION and picture ID
When you arrive at the circle drive of the Long Center there will be lines staffed to quickly check printed or digital copies of either:
- Your COVID-19 test results obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of the performance
- Your proof of vaccination card. Signage and staff will remind you to have your information ready so we can get you through this process and on your way.
- Make sure you have a photo ID.
VISIT ONE OF THE TOUCHLESS TICKET SCANNING STATIONS
Once you complete the process of showing either the negative COVID test or proof of vaccination, visit one of the 6 touchless ticket scanning stations located just outside the Box Office area at The Long Center, with a staff person available should you need assistance.
TIME TO RELAX AND ENJOY!
Now it’s time to enjoy the best view of the Austin skyline on the Long Center’s Terrace with food and drink available for sale and Ballet Austin’s DJ bringing music and some “Terrace dancing” to the start your time with us!
Consistent with Austin’s current COVID-19 guidance, masks must be worn at all times by those over the age of 2, except while actively eating or drinking.
Food and drink concessions will be open in the lobbies and on the Terrace.
Food and drink cannot be taken into Dell Hall at this time.
FULL THEATRE SANITATION
Seats, bathrooms, and other high-touch surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized before each show.
Long Center and Ballet Austin staff members are required to wear KN95 masks at all times and frequently wash and sanitize their hands.
The Long Center’s air filtration system exceeds hospital standards with a MERV rating of 13.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue for your personal use.
If you would like a digital version of our printed playbill, just scan the QR code you will find around the theater.
NEED SOME ELBOW ROOM? BALLET AUSTIN IS OPENING UP THE BALCONY TO GIVE YOU SOME ROOM.
While indoor events returned to full capacity, Ballet Austin reduced the capacity of available tickets for this opening production to only 50% to allow for plenty of room. Further, as BA did not open Balcony for sale, we will make the Balcony available at each performance to give audience members room to move, should anyone prefer more “elbow room.”
