HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
The safety of our patrons, artists, and staff remains our highest priority. As such, the following health and wellness protocols safely allow the community to enjoy live performances and shared creative experiences.
In accordance with the City of Austin’s public health guidelines for city-owned facilities, masks are strongly encouraged but not required when attending a Long Center event.
TOUCHLESS TICKET SCANNING
At the door, present your ticket to a ticket taker, and they will scan your ticket without taking it from you.
FULL THEATRE SANITATION
Seats, bathrooms, and other high-touch surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized before each show. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue for your personal use. Long Center staff are required to wear KN95 masks at all times and frequently wash and sanitize their hands.
Additionally, The Long Center is excited to announce the installation of UVC lighting in all of our air handler units. This technology has been proven to neutralize viruses, bacteria and other airborne pathogens. The HVAC system uses MERV 13 air filters to further ensure a clean and safe environment for our patrons, performers, and staff.
More information about UVC lighting and its application in HVAC systems can be found here.
If you would like a digital version of our printed playbill, just scan the QR code you will find around the theater.
