Ballet Austin offers a premier Pilates experience. Our team of certified Pilates instructors are with you every step of the way to help you get the most out of each workout. In addition to Pilates reformer private and group classes, we offer a variety of Pilates-based workshops and mat-based classes seven days a week.

Pilates Group Reformer & Mat-based Class Offerings

MASTER THE MACHINE | A Pilates Group Reformer Class Perfect for Guys!

Finally a Pilates workout perfect for guys! 

During this 55 minute class, a certified Pilates instructor will take the group of guys through a series of exercises on the reformer that will specifically address areas men need to work on:

  • Six Pack Abs. Get rid of body fat around the abs and through a regular Pilates workout build these muscle groups.
  • Powerful back. The core muscles are not only in the abs but in the back. Strengthen those back muscles for a powerhouse core.
  • Flexibility. Strengthen and lengthen your muscles! Men definitely need to catch up to women in the flexibility area. Pilates can help!
  • Rehabilitation. Any injury or weakness, from muscles to herniated discs can be rehabbed through Pilates.
  • Cross training. Men involved in any other sport need the benefits of Pilates to provide overall balance, flexibility and strength.
  • Longevity. Pilates is one of the few forms of exercise that you can do every day, and instead of breaking down your body, you continue to progress in strength and flexibility.

Prenatal Private Pilates Workout


Build strength for labor and stay in shape during your entire pregnancy 

Pilates strengthens your tummy, back and pelvic floor muscles without straining other joints, so it's a great exercise to do when you're pregnant. Sessions will promote good posture and spinal alignment, easing the strain and tensions involved with a changing body during pregnancy.

We recommend working in a private Pilates session customized for your prenatal needs.

Purchase our Prenatal Package and book your sessions with one of our certified Pilates instructors.

The instructor will teach the basic principles of Pilates on a reformer, with modifications to accommodate all stages of pregnancy and levels of fitness.

Enjoy 5, 45-minute private sessions on the Pilates reformer for only $248 (valued at $310).

Sessions are Designed to:

  • Offer beginner level orientation in order to introduce new clients to the Pilates method and machines.
  • Allow clients to work with certified and experienced Pilates instructors who will guide them through any stage of pregnancy.

Osteo-lates—For Strong Bones and Joints

There are two types of exercises that are important for building and maintaining strong bones and joints: weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening exercises.

This drop-in Group Reformer class will focus on strengthening bone, muscle, and joint health through a system of therapeutic Pilates exercises. Improve posture and feel better! Participation may be modified for any skill level.

Pilates Mat Drop-in Class

The Pilates Mat Workout is a great way to get in an additional Pilates core workout, or supplement Pilates reformer workouts. 

Mat exercises are adaptable to any fitness level which makes this a challenging class for anyone. Drop in anytime.

Pilates mats are provided for use during class time.

Pilates Cardio Drop-in Class

Add cardio to Pilates for a fat-burning workout that is one of the best ways to lose fat and build muscles.

Spend 45 minutes doing Pilates exercises using weights, kettle bells, balls, bosu balls, jumpropes, and other Pilates props to get a cardio-intensive workout.

The class focuses on core stability, posture, and lengthening and strengthening muscles, with an intense cardio portion that will get the heart rate up and increase blood circulation. Drop-in any time.

Stretch & Resistance Band Drop-in Class

A great Pilates-based workout for overall conditioning and toning. This resistance band workout offers 45 minutes of the same benefits you would get from a classic Pilates reformer workout, only on a mat and with a resistance band. 
Resistance bands (Thera-bands®) are utilized to create exercises to stabilize the core and strengthen the body.

Regular workouts with resistance bands will improve circulation, prevent injury, and advance overall performance level. Drop-in any time.
Resistance bands provided for class use and are also available to purchase.

Pre-teen/Teen Group Pilates Reformer Class for ages 11-17

A group Pilates reformer class for ages 11-17 to specifically target posture, alignment, core strength, coordination, balance and flexibility.

A great  workout offered once a week for 45 minutes.
Pilates on a regular basis will promote balanced muscle development.
Pilates helps pre-teens and teens gain awareness of their body, improve their movement function and strengthen and tone muscles. No previous Pilates experience required.

Cost: This group reformer class* requires the purchase of a single class or 5-class pass specifically for the Pre-teen/Teen Pilates class. $25 per single session. $110 for 5 classes.

*Only 8 spots available per session. Please sign up ahead of time to secure a spot in a class. 

Pink Pilates Post-Operative Workshop 

Ballet Austin's Pink Pilates Program is a post-operative exercise and rehabilitative program for women recovering from breast cancer.

More than just exercise, we offer care, confidence building, encouragement, and a warm and therapeutic environment. The weekly class is held in our beautiful center for dance and community wellness, a non-medical, happy, mainstream environment that allows for encouragement and rehabilitation.

The Pink Pilates Program will help stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest, back, and abdominal muscles, allowing women to regain full range of motion to those areas affected by breast cancer surgery.

This program is suitable for women recovering from a recent surgery or from several years ago. It is recommended that women wait 4-6 weeks post op before enrolling in the course.

Each class will offer strengthening, self-esteem and quality of life to breast cancer survivors. The program works in conjunction with your doctor's recommendations for an exercise program.

  • Bike racks are located directly outside the building at the corners of 3rd & San Antonio Streets and 3rd & Nueces Streets.
  • Various Capital Metro bus routes stop conveniently around Ballet Austin. The nearest stop is located at 2nd & San Antonio St.

Handicapped Spaces

  • These spaces require a proper permit. Violators will be ticketed at the owners expense.
