However, we understand that unexpected circumstances can occasionally arise, making it impossible to attend. That’s why we have partnered with Secure My Booking to offer optional Ticket Refund Protection*.
Ticket Refund Protection allows you to recover 100% of the paid ticket price in the event of:
- Accident, injury, or illness (including COVID-19)
- Severe weather preventing travel to the venue
- Travel delays caused by breakdowns or public transit issues, including strikes
- And more!

The protection fee is automatically calculated based on your total ticket purchase—including donations, Nutcracker VIP Experience, and memberships.

Refund applications must be submitted directly to Secure My Booking within 60 days of the event.

No. Ticket Refund Protection must be selected during your original purchase. It cannot be added later.
Yes. Protection continues to apply if you exchange your tickets — as long as the exchange is requested at least 48 hours before your originally scheduled performance. Exchanges are limited to other performances within the current season. Non-subscribers pay a $10 per-order exchange fee.
