Choose Your Starting Path
Most clients start with one of the two options below. Both work — it just depends on how you like to learn.
Valued at $252, this package is offered to NEW CLIENTS at our JCC location for only $220, or *$195 for JCC members!
- Get started with 3 private Pilates Reformer sessions that will introduce you to the Pilates reformer and the Pilates method. After your 3 private sessions you will be ready to book into group reformer classes!
- After purchase — how to book:
- Email pilates@balletaustin.org to book your sessions. (Booking requests answered weekdays, 6 a.m.–5 p.m. CT.)
- If you have an instructor request, mention the name when booking.
- Please mention you are a new client and want to book 3 Intro Private Sessions at the Dell JCC location.

Master Instructor note: If desiring to book with Master Instructor and Pilates Program Director Vlada Sheber, Master Instructor rates are required.
Already have reformer experience?
- NEW clients who have previous reformer experience and prefer group classes, please email us to receive prerequisite approval to sign up for group classes.
- To receive the discounted JCC member rate, your JCC membership must be verified before making a purchase.
- CREATE your MINDBODY account. If you already have a MINDBODY account you have used elsewhere you can follow these steps to connect to Ballet Austin. Then email us to add the JCC member ID to your account.
- After the initial INTRO Offer for JCC members, private and duet sessions are not offered at a discount.
For those who prefer a group workout rather than a private session. No experience required!
Basic Level classes at the JCC location:
- Tuesdays at 8:00am
- Wednesdays at 5:30pm
- Thursdays at 11:30am
- When you feel ready you can try any of our other group reformer classes!
How to get started:
- Check the schedule and choose a Basic-level class.
- Make a reservation in advance.
- Complete purchase in MINDBODY when prompted. New to Ballet Austin? Try your first reformer class for only $28!
NOTE: If you book a reservation, we have a 12-hour cancellation period. If you do not cancel before the 12-hour window you will pay for the class as if you attended.

Valued at $158–$170 per person, this duet package is only $125 per person. (2 people must book together).
- Find someone to be your workout buddy and get started with Pilates together! Once you have completed your duet sessions you will be ready to sign up for group reformer classes.
After purchase — how to book:
- Each partner must make a purchase and book together by emailing pilates@balletaustin.org
- Mention you are a new client wanting to book a DUET PACKAGE at the Dell JCC location.
- Include the name of your DUET partner when booking.
- Both partners are required to attend together. You must arrange your own duet partner.
- Share preferred days, times and session length (45 or 60 minutes).

FAQs
Pilates is a system of more than 500 exercises that condition the whole body as well as engage the mind. The blend of resistance, strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates works the entire body simultaneously through continuous motion, with a specific focus on the core, the body’s “powerhouse” (abdomen, back and pelvic region).

The Benefits of Pilates
Pilates can make a difference in your health without taking a toll on your body. Benefits all ages and all levels of fitness.
The benefits of Pilates are many. Since it’s creation 100 years ago, Pilates has been practiced to increase muscle strength, develop a strong core and improve flexibility, posture, and balance. Additional research suggests that Pilates also has a wide range of mental health benefits and is a great cross-training workout for athletes.
Your first session is all about you.
- Learn about the Pilates equipment, how Pilates works, and be introduced to the basic Pilates exercises.
- Our professionally certified instructors will individualize a workout program that is safe and challenging, focusing on your body’s needs.
- Feel free to ask lots of questions!
- Keep in mind that Pilates, like anything else, takes practice and time.
Pilates group reformer classes require experience.
- At least 2 private reformer sessions are required and 5 are recommended before booking group reformer classes.
