We strive to create a culture of care in everything we do, focusing on creating a warm and welcoming environment for our audience at performances and events. Volunteers are an essential resource, joining Ballet Austin team members in a variety of positions. That’s where you come in!

What Volunteers Do

Ushering & Ticket-Taking

Help guide audiences to their seats and create a smooth, welcoming entry experience at mainstage performances.

Guest Greeting & Event Logistics

Greet guests, answer questions, and help things run smoothly at performances and special events.

Production Support

Help with load-ins and load-outs for Ballet Austin productions — the behind-the-scenes work that makes every show possible.

Good to Know

✓Your schedule, your choice — volunteer as often or as rarely as you like

✓Short shifts — most run a few hours; volunteers typically receive a complimentary ticket to the show they support
