Ballet Austin Guild
Membership Expectations
All new members are eligible for active volunteer memberships and are expected to complete at least 30 total hours of service each season (August through July) in areas of education programs, fundraisers and special events, including:
- Attend general meetings and Guild functions.
- Work three shifts at the Gift Barre: two for The Nutcracker (December) and one other.
- Serve on one standing committee (new members serve on the membership committee).
- There are additional areas to volunteer including through School Shows, the Docent program, and a number of committee positions that support the administrative functions of the Guild.
Dual Memberships are joint memberships of two individuals within the same household.

About Membership Levels – Renewing Members*
In addition to the membership levels below, renewing members with at least two (2) years of active service are also eligible for the following membership levels.
*Please note: The membership renewal period takes place between May 1 and July 31 of each season. Beginning Aug. 1, there is an additional $10 fee for late renewals. This is automatically reflected in the price of membership at checkout
