This one-day holiday dance workshop is bound to be a new tradition at Ballet Austin and we invite you to join us this year. It’s a great way to get into the holiday mood, have a fun workout, and relieve some of the holiday stress.
Santa Hats, Jingle Bells, and holiday socks required! (not really…but they’re fun so dress it up!)
Some dance experience preferred.
This workshop is a high-energy class inspired by the iconic precision and classic showmanship of the world-famous Rockettes – an ensemble that has become synonymous with the holidays.Whether you’re channeling your inner showgirl or simply looking to elevate your technique, this class blends timeless choreography with modern jazz elements to deliver a fun, spirited challenge for dancers of all levels.
Radio City Rockette, Monika Brinkmann, will guide you through the iconic arm pathways, leg lines, kicks, and technical details of the Precision Jazz style.
Expect upbeat music, clean technique, big smiles, and the joyful sparkle that has made the Rockettes a beloved holiday tradition. Come kick off the season with us, literally!
Character heels or jazz shoes are recommended.
