Black History Month Workshop: Hip Hop Foundations

This high-energy, empowering class blends technique, musicality, and attitude while exploring movement in heels (or sneakers – your choice!). Black History Month Workshop: Afrobeats
Led by Val Lavender, Afrobeat dance is a joyous journey into a vibrant and eclectic world of movement that reflects the soulful rhythms and energetic beats of Afrobeat music. It evolved from traditional African dance styles. Open to all levels, this class is about community, celebration, and letting the music move you. Come ready to sweat, vibe, and dance with full-out energy and heart.

Black History Month Pop Up: Praise Dance
Led by Sire McClennahan Fromboluti, this uplifting workshop invites dancers of all levels to move with intention, joy, and purpose through praise dance. Blending expressive movement, worship music, and storytelling, participants will explore how dance can be a powerful form of praise. Fused with Contemporary and Hip Hop styles, this class will focus on musicality, emotional expression, and choreography that reflects faith, gratitude, and celebration. Led by Leah Baxter, line dances are choreographed dances with a repeating series of steps that are performed in unison by a group of people in lines or rows.
This Line Dancing class is a fun, high-energy way to learn classic and modern line dances set to country, pop, and feel-good hits. You’ll be guided step-by-step through easy-to-follow patterns, building coordination, rhythm, and confidence as you dance together as a group.
No partner needed -just bring your energy and a willingness to have fun. Whether you’re brand new or brushing up on your moves, this class is perfect for letting loose, breaking a sweat, and leaving with a few crowd-pleasing dances you can take anywhere.
