THIS PROGRAM SERVES STUDENTS IN PRE-K4 THROUGH 5TH GRADE
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
EduMoves™ VIRTUAL, Ballet Austin’s standards-aligned program for schools, educates students through movement, utilizing kinesthetic learning rooted in dance, yoga, and mindfulness to increase physical activity and development, enhance kinesthetic awareness, improve social-emotional skills such as self-awareness and stress-management, and promote overall well-being in young children Pre-K4 through 5th Grade.
This library of 204 online, on-demand recordings of our EduMoves™ lessons features activities that prioritize students’ physical activity and well-being. Our 10-15 minute video lessons feature activities grounded in mindfulness, multiple genres of dance, and themed yoga flows, and is designed for elementary-aged children to practice independently. Additionally, the yoga flows in English and Spanish are provided as activity sheets for students to use at home when access to virtual lessons is limited.
In continued support of elementary school students, teachers, and families, Ballet Austin is currently offering EduMoves™ VIRTUAL free of charge to all who register for access.
