Ballet Floor Barre Workshop for Adults
This 4-week workshop meets weekly for one hour. Being on the floor helps reinforcing proper body placement and positioning. It’s especially helpful for rehabilitation and for isolating movements without joint stress. Proper foot placement, turnout from the hips, and leg extensions can be fine-tuned more slowly and intentionally on the floor. These concentrated exercises carry beautifully into standing work, allowing dancers to return to the barre and center with cleaner lines, greater precision, and a more effortless sense of control.
Students should bring a mat to class with them. This Ballet Floor Barre is a great pairing with the 9:15 am drop-in Ballet class.

- Fridays, March 13 – April 10: 11:00am – 12:15pm (4 weeks; no class on 04/03)
