Ballet Workshops for Adults

It’s never too late to learn something new!

Take a moment to imagine: a studio of adult students, all beginners, learning something new, fulfilling dreams, escaping life’s concerns for a bit, and experiencing the beauty & artistry of ballet. Not to forget getting in a great workout!

Ballet workshops are enrollment-based*, usually 4 to 6 weeks in length, and are a great place to start if you have little or no ballet experience. Beyond the fun of learning ballet where Ballet Austin professional dancers train, the benefits of ballet include: Upper-body strength, core strength, improved flexibility, balance, and better posture.

  • If you have had previous ballet training you may also be interested in our Ballet classes for adults offered weekly on-site at Ballet Austin or virtually. Just drop in! Start any time and come when you can.

Designed for those who have never had a ballet class, this workshop teaches ballet from the very beginning. At the end of the session, you will have learned some of the fundamental positions, vocabulary, and basic principles of ballet.
