Summer 2021 Enrollment

Ballet Austin Academy is now enrolling summer classes for children ages 18 months to 10 years.

Join us online, outside, or in the studio! Enrollment is now open for our 6-week summer classes.

June 14 thru July 25, 2021 (In observation of the Fourth of July Holiday, classes will not be held on July 3 and July 4. Classes affected by the Fourth of July Holiday, will be made up on July 31 and August 1.)

BA LIVE! Academy Remote Learning classes are designed to ensure that our instructors can see, speak with and provide feedback to all those in each class. Our resident faculty provides the guidance and encouragement crucial to a successful and healthy virtual class.

Ballet Austin @ the J Outdoor Pavilion classes is the same curriculum under the shade of the Pavilion at our sister campus at the JCC. Don’t worry, classes start early to beat the heat of the Texas sun.

We are thrilled to begin bringing our younger students back to our downtown studios. At this time, students in levels 1 & 2 in the Elementary Division will have classes onsite.

Academy Divisions & Class Schedule

Young Children’s Division

Students of our youngest division are gently introduced to the joy of dance through imaginative stories and games. Not only are they having fun but our curriculum is designed to enhance physical, cognitive, social and emotional skills.

Pre-Ballet Division

With just the right amount of creativity and structure, students are gently prepared for formal ballet instruction. By introducing students to the basic terminology, positions, postures and traditions of classical ballet, the curriculum enhances both cognitive and physical development.

Elementary Division

Formal ballet training begins at a rate that allows all students to learn exercises correctly and with full physicality. Repetition and slow deliberate work is emphasized as the students learn discipline and control of their bodies.
